The star golfer shot a 2-under 69 to win the 81st U.S. Women's Open on Sunday, finishing eight strokes under par for the tournament. That was just enough to edge out Charley Hull and Gaby Lopez, who each finished seven under.
On moving day, the Filipino bet slid backwards after shooting a 4-over-par 75, one stroke worse than the previous day, and five more than her sparkling 1-under-par 70 to open her campaign.
